Good News For Farmers From Modi Government! 1.5 Percent Interest Discount On Loans Of 3 Lakhs :

The Narendra Modi government has given a big relief to the farmers in the Cabinet meeting (Modi Cabinet Meeting). The government is continuously working for the empowerment of farmers. Union Minister Anurag Thakur informed that a one and a half percent discount has been approved on short-term agricultural loans up to 3 lakh rupees in the meeting. He was talking to the media after the Cabinet meeting. Thakur said that an additional budgetary provision of Rs 34 thousand 856 crores has been made for the period 2022-23 to 2024-25 under this scheme.

Anurag Thakur while giving information in this regard said, due to this decision of the government, farmers will be able to get sufficient loans in the agricultural sector.

Apart from giving loan waivers to farmers, the government has also approved increasing the funds of the Credit Line Guarantee Scheme.

Due to this scheme of the government (Modi Government), the agriculture sector will get a big boost.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar had already said that,

The government is focusing on the development of technology and infrastructure in the agricultural sector.

This will create employment opportunities for the educated youth in the villages. In this regard, today’s cabinet meeting has taken a decision.
