What if ATM traction fails?

Nowadays people are increasingly using debit cards without cash. Debit cards make it easy to withdraw money from ATMs as needed. However, transactions are often incomplete due to some technical difficulties in withdrawing money from ATMs. This means that the message comes that the money has been withdrawn from the account but the money does not come from the ATM. In this case, the customer is very scared. Let’s find out what to do in such a situation …

File a written complaint with the bank: – The customer can lodge a written complaint with the bank if no solution is reached even after filing the complaint with the customer care service. The complaint can be lodged with the bank’s helpdesk. If you have a transaction slip, it can also be submitted. -There the customer gets a new tracking number. Your money will be credited to your account at least within a week after this complaint.

Call Customer Care Service: – Contact the customer care service of the bank whose ATM card was used for the transaction. This service is available 24 hours a day. Report your use of this service. You get your complaint registration number from the customer care service. The money needs to be credited to the customer’s account within five days after the complaint is lodged.

Meet the senior officer or branch manager If your problem is not resolved even after a written complaint, meet the branch manager of the concerned bank. If a complaint is lodged with a superior, it is immediately noticed. The customer can also lodge a complaint by visiting the bank’s website.

If all these efforts are not appreciated then Reserve Bank or Banking Appreciation can be sought from the Lokpal.
